All food producers know that if blast freezing or tempering is required prior to use, then it must be done in a timely and temperature controlled manner which is adequately monitored, documented and verified. All of our blast freezing processes are approved to BRC standard as is our tempering facility at Newcastle. We have a dedicated team of personnel whom operate them, as we understand the importance and value of your products.

We have the capability to blast freeze up to 200 pallets daily across our sites – offering a comprehensive service from egg shelling to product consolidation. Our tempering facilities can take frozen product to chilled in an efficient process. 

The Ice Co Storage and Logistics are continually investing and developing its cold storage sites across the UK.

We are members of the Cold Chain Federation and RHA and were a finalist in the Grocer 2011 Awards. We are certified to the BRC Global Standard in Storage and Distribution, including blast freezing and chamber freezing of products. We are certified by the Organic Soil Association.
